Our strong presence at ELROMA ’26 News & Events

We reinforced our leadership in rotating machines and industrial automation as the Platinum Sponsor of the 11th edition of ELROMA (ELectrical ROtating MAchines), held in Mumbai on 10th – 11th June 2026. The event was inaugurated by our Vivek Batra, who also serves as Chairperson of the Rotating Machines division at IEEMA.

At the conference, our Managing Director, Nakul Mehta, delivered the keynote address on the theme, “Powering Sustainable Industry with Energy Efficient Rotating Machines”. At the heart of Mr Mehta’s address was a powerful message – as India accelerates its industrial growth, energy efficiency must become a strategic priority.

With electric motors accounting for the majority of industrial electricity consumption, wider adoption of high-efficiency motors and drive systems presents one of the most impactful opportunities. Mr. Mehta emphasized that while the technology already exists, meaningful progress is possible only through collaboration across industry, academia and policymakers to accelerate adoption.

Showcasing BB’s engineering expertise, we also presented a technical paper at the event. Sachin Pilkhane and Gaurav Kharva from our Motors Division presented the paper titled Experimental Study on Effect of Harmonics on Temperature Rise and Vibrations of VFD-Driven Induction Motors. Their research was well received by industry peers and technical experts.

Alongside engaging technical sessions and industry dialogue, we showcased our extensive portfolio of motor, drive and magnet technology solutions to delegates from across the sector.
