Our ED Shome Danani rings the bell at NSE to mark two decades of listing News & Events

On 15th July, our Executive Director Shome Danani rung the ceremonial bell at National Stock Exchange (NSE) to mark 20 years of our listing on the exchange. This milestone comes during our landmark 80th year, making the occasion even more special as we celebrate our enduring legacy of resilience, innovation and trust.

The celebration was hosted at the grand atrium in NSE’s headquarters in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai, and brought together the BB leadership team, led by Shome Danani and our Managing Director, Nikhil Danani, our valued partners and distinguished guests.

Representing the NSE were Krishnan Iyer, Sr. Vice President – Issuer Relationships, Rohit Mandhotra, Head – Investor Relationships, and Rupal Khandelwal, Head – Corporate Relationships.

In his keynote address, Shome Danani reflected on our 80-year journey and the significance of completing two decades as a listed company, an achievement shared by only a select group of Indian corporates. He attributed this milestone to BB’s enduring resilience and an unwavering focus on prudent risk management and strong governance.

The ceremonial bell was rung by Shome Danani, and our Chief Financial Officer, Yogendra Agarwal, alongside the NSE team. The occasion was a celebration of the people, values and purpose that have defined Bharat Bijlee since 1946. As we mark this milestone, we remain focused on shaping the future and creating long-term value for all our stakeholders.
