Job Description

  • Facilitate the support of SAP SD, VC and additional sub module implementation.
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements.
  • Facilitate to collect business requirements , identify gaps, issues and work around solutions
  • Map business requirements, processes. Design, customize, configure and test with cross functional modules.
  • Prepare Functional specification, test cases and document the results.
  • Provide support on both new implementations and existing Processes.
  • Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
  • Provide training and user support as required.
  • Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in a SD full cycle implementation (order to cash) processes as well as in support projects.
    1. Enterprise Structure: Definition and Assignment of Organizational Units as Company Code, Sales organization, Sales area, Sales office, Distribution Channel, Division etc.
    2. Master Data: Material Master, Customer master, Bill of Material (BOM), Condition record master
    3. Functional expertise : Pre-sales activities such as inquiry, quotation and scheduling agreement, and major business activities such as Pricing, Taxation, Billing, Shipping, Availability check (ATP), Credit Management, Partner Determination, Output Determination, Bill of Materials and Variant Configuration 
    4. Customizing different Sales Orders such as Standard sales order, Rush sales order, Cash sales order, Stock transfer Orders, Export sales, Consignment sale, Return Orders, Repair Orders, FOC Orders etc.
    5. Pricing: Configuration of Condition Types, Condition Tables and Access Sequences, Determining and Maintaining Pricing Procedure, Creation of Condition Records, Special Pricing Functions such as Condition Exclusion and Analysis of Pricing
    6. Billing : Configuration based on Billing Types and Item Categories with integration to FI-CO
    7. Configuration of Credit Control Area, Credit Data and Credit Groups
    8. Understanding of ABAP codes, SAP scripts, Smart forms.
    9. Mass uploading tools like LSMW, BDC.
    10. Period end closing activities
  • Knowledge of the key integration points between the other SAP modules (VC, CS, FI-CO experience is an asset).
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
  • Experience in a manufacturing Company is desirable.
  • Ability to understand business processes from a user perspective and effectively interacting with team members.
